Built around Andrew Eldritch’s commanding vocals, brooding atmospheres and the band’s signature drum‑machine pulse, the record blends dark romanticism with driving post‑punk guitars. Tracks such as Black Planet, Walk Away, Marian and Some Kind Of Stranger define the band’s early sound and remain essential classics. This 40th Anniversary edition is pressed on red and black marble vinyl and housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.

FEATURES

40th Anniversary edition

Red and black marble vinyl

Gatefold sleeve

Includes Black Planet, Walk Away, Marian and Some Kind Of Stranger

Classic 1985 goth rock album

TRACKLIST

Side A

Black Planet

Walk Away

No Time To Cry

A Rock And A Hard Place

Marian

Side B

First And Last And Always

Possession

Nine While Nine

Logic

Some Kind Of Stranger

FACTS

Artist: The Sisters Of Mercy

Title: First And Last And Always

Label: Warner Music Group / Elektra / Merciful Release

Catalogue Number: 5021732634481 / MR 377L

Format: LP, red and black marble, gatefold, reissue

Country: UK & Europe

Released: 4 Jul 2025

Genre: Electronic, Rock

Style: Goth Rock

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0879/3004/4761/files/57_b405d61e-913f-4990-841b-24c38f19938a.png?v=1791993143
https://mostlymusicstore.co.uk/products/the-sisters-of-mercy-first-and-last-and-always-lp-album-vinyl-record-red-limited
