Try Anything Once is Alan Parsons' first solo album following the end of The Alan Parsons Project. It features guest vocals from David Pack of Ambrosia, Jacqui Copland, Eric Stewart of 10cc, and Chris Thompson of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band. The album moves away from the more ethereal sound of the Project and continues the stylistic development that began with Stereotomy and Gaudi, blending rock-driven tracks such as Back Against The Wall and Breakaway with atmospheric, mood-oriented pieces like Turn It Up and I’m Talkin’ To You. Parsons also retains elements of the classic Project sound through songs such as Mr Time, Wine From The Water and the instrumental compositions.
Try Anything Once is available on black vinyl and includes a 4-page booklet.
