Originally released posthumously in 1983, Confrontation is Bob Marley’s final studio album, assembled by Rita Marley from unfinished recordings. This 2015 reissue on 180g black vinyl restores the spiritual and revolutionary tone of Marley’s late-period work. Featuring the anthemic “Buffalo Soldier,” the defiant “Chant Down Babylon,” and the uplifting “Rastaman Live Up!,” the album blends roots reggae with rhythm and blues influences. Pressed in Holland and presented in a gatefold sleeve, this edition is part of the Back To Black series.
