Cheap Trick / Next Position Please (1LP Coloured) Pre Order 11/12/2026

Next Position Please is Cheap Trick’s seventh studio album, released in 1983 and produced by Todd Rundgren. The record marked a deliberate return to the band’s power‑pop roots, moving away from the heavier production of its predecessor. Rundgren’s crisp, melodic approach gives the album a bright, hook‑driven sound, with standout tracks including I Can’t Take It, Dancing The Night Away and the title track. Often cited by Bun E. Carlos as the band’s most underrated album, it remains a favourite among power‑pop fans and an important part of Cheap Trick’s 1980s catalogue. This edition is pressed on translucent blue 180‑gram vinyl and includes an insert.
