Cottonopolis Manchester's Unknown Treasures Vinyl LP Chimney Smoke
Cottonopolis is a limited‑run compilation celebrating Greater Manchester’s overlooked musical gems — bands known and supported by Vinyl Revival since opening in 1997. These artists recorded exceptional tracks that never broke into the mainstream but remain an important part of Manchester’s musical heritage.
The album features obscure and previously unreleased material from Proud Mary, Omerta, The Delaplains, Death To The Strange, Rambo And Leroy, The Broadcast, The Fayre, Rubber Orange, The Children and Asia Fields.
Pressed in a limited run of 300 copies, the LP comes on grey coloured vinyl with a mint‑condition sleeve and inlay. The artwork, courtesy of Oldham Gallery, features a late‑1800s photograph of Oldham’s cotton mills — a fitting tribute to the region’s industrial and cultural roots.
