Released on 13 October 2014 by Jade Tree, Pure Reality is the debut LP from Philadelphia’s post-punk outfit Dark Blue, featuring members of Clockcleaner, Puerto Rico Flowers, and Ceremony. Written during a solitary stint in Canberra and recorded by Jeff Zeigler (Kurt Vile, War on Drugs), the album channels bleak urban disillusionment through sweeping guitars and austere vocals. Pressed on 180g black vinyl, it includes a printed insert and download code.
