This limited edition 7" from Dynamite Cuts features two explosive cuts from Lightnin' Rod (aka Jalal Mansur Nuriddin of The Last Poets), backed by the legendary Kool & The Gang. Originally part of the 1973 Hustlers Convention LP, these tracks blend jazz poetry, funk, and street realism in a way that laid the groundwork for hip hop.

Pressed on green & beige vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve, this boutique release is limited to just 150 copies. A must-have for collectors of spoken word funk, proto-rap, and rare groove.
