This era marked the rebirth of the group, rebuilt around Sydney Crooks and rising vocalist Jackie Robinson, who delivered a string of hits for Gibbs including Longshot, Jackpot and Catch the Beat. “Love Love Everyday” captures the group at their peak — tight, melodic, and unmistakably rooted in the sound that would soon take them to UK chart success with Long Shot (Kick De Bucket). Originally released on Gibbs’ Amalgamated label in 1969, this single is a long‑time collector favourite and rarely seen outside Trojan’s scarce Spirit of ’69 box set.
