Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan & Michael Brook Night Song Vinyl LP Green

Night Song is the celebrated collaboration between Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and producer Michael Brook, blending Qawwali tradition with ambient electronics, global instrumentation and spacious, atmospheric production. Originally released in 1996 and reissued here on green swirl vinyl, the album presents a deeply emotive fusion of harmonium, tabla, kora, percussion and Brook’s signature treatments. Tracks such as My Heart, My Life, Intoxicated and Sweet Pain highlight Nusrat’s powerful vocal presence while weaving in contributions from musicians including Mick Karn, Caroline Dale, Jo Bruce, Kauwding Cissokho and Dildar Hussain. A landmark world‑fusion album, presented in a premium European pressing.
