Originally released in 1973, Goats Head Soup marked The Rolling Stones’ shift from raw rock to lush, introspective textures. This 2020 deluxe 2CD edition restores the album with a new stereo mix and a second disc of rarities, alternate takes, and three previously unreleased tracks: “Scarlet,” “All The Rage,” and “Criss Cross.” Recorded in Jamaica, Los Angeles, and London, the album features the haunting ballad “Angie,” the brooding “Dancing With Mr. D,” and the swaggering “Star Star.” Presented in a gatefold digipak with a 20-page booklet.
