Description Reviews
The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society remains one of the band’s most celebrated works, blending baroque pop, folk rock and music‑hall influences with Ray Davies’ nostalgic storytelling. The album paints a vivid portrait of English life through character‑driven songs, melodic arrangements and warm, analogue production. This 2022 European LP reissue from BMG and Pye Records forms part of The Art Of The Album series, offering a remastered stereo presentation that highlights the clarity and charm of the original 1968 recordings.
