Description Reviews
First And Last And Always is The Sisters Of Mercy’s seminal 1985 debut album, a cornerstone of goth rock and one of the genre’s most influential releases. Built around Andrew Eldritch’s commanding vocals, brooding atmospheres and the band’s signature drum‑machine pulse, the record blends dark romanticism with driving post‑punk guitars. Tracks such as Black Planet, Walk Away, Marian and Some Kind Of Stranger define the band’s early sound and remain essential classics. This 40th Anniversary edition is pressed on red and black marble vinyl and housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.
