Reissue of rare 1960s recordings

This Kent Select reissue brings together two ultra-rare mid-60s soul cuts. Long Ways to Go by Timmy Wilson was recorded in Columbus, Ohio in 1965 and features a driving R&B groove perfect for mod and Northern Soul DJs. The flip side, Chained Am I by Ansler Montell, was originally recorded for New York’s Arock label and remained unreleased until this pressing. Both tracks were previously featured on Ace’s Modernists CD compilation.
