Colosseum – Valentyne Suite Vinyl LP Numbered Pink Pre Order 16th Jan
Colosseum – Valentyne Suite Vinyl LP Numbered Pink Pre Order 16th Jan
Valentyne Suite is widely regarded as Colosseum’s finest album, originally released in 1969. The English jazz rock band, formed in 1968 by drummer Jon Hiseman and saxophonist Dick Heckstall‑Smith, blended blues, rock, and jazz improvisation into a progressive sound. This reissue takes the band out of their bluesy comfort zone into something closer to prog rock. The track The Kettle became especially notable after being sampled by Fatboy Slim on Ya Mama. This collector’s edition is pressed on 180‑gram audiophile vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve, and limited to 750 individually numbered copies.
